Advanced restorative care in one visit

A damaged tooth can affect the way you eat, speak, smile, and feel. Traditionally, getting a dental crown meant multiple appointments, temporary crowns, and weeks of waiting for a final restoration.

With CEREC® same-day crowns, City Center Dental can streamline the entire process. We use digital imaging, advanced design software, and in-office milling technology to create a beautiful ceramic crown while you are still here in the office.

Whether you need to repair a cracked tooth, replace an old crown, or protect a tooth after root canal therapy, same-day dental crowns offer a faster way to restore your smile.

CEREC® Same-Day Crowns

CEREC® technology allows us to create custom ceramic crowns without sending impressions to an outside lab. Instead, we take a precise digital scan of your tooth, design your crown chairside, and use our in-office milling unit to craft your restoration during the same appointment.

Your final crown is designed to blend naturally with your smile while restoring the strength, shape, and function of your tooth.

The same-day crown process

Our CEREC® crown process is designed to be efficient, precise, and comfortable from start to finish.

1. Preparing your tooth

Dr. Pearson begins by removing damaged or weakened tooth structure and shaping the tooth for your crown. This creates a stable foundation for your restoration.

2. Taking a digital scan

Instead of traditional impressions, we use advanced digital scanning technology to capture a detailed 3D image of your tooth and bite.

3. Designing your crown

Using CEREC® software, we design your custom crown to fit your tooth, support your bite, and blend naturally with your smile.

4. Creating your ceramic crown

Your crown is milled right here in our office from a high-quality ceramic material chosen for strength and aesthetics.

5. Placing your final restoration

Once your crown is ready, Dr. Pearson checks the fit, feel, and appearance before bonding it securely in place.

What can dental crowns help with?

Dental crowns are used to protect, strengthen, and restore teeth that need more support than a simple filling can provide.

A same-day dental crown may be recommended for:

  • Cracked teeth
  • Broken teeth
  • Severely worn teeth
  • Large cavities
  • Teeth with large or failing fillings
  • Teeth treated with root canal therapy
  • Misshapen teeth
  • Discolored teeth
  • Old crown replacement
  • Teeth weakened by injury or decay

Why choose same-day crowns?

Same-day crowns are designed for patients who want strong, natural-looking results without the inconvenience of multiple visits.

Faster treatment

With CEREC® technology, your crown can be designed, created, and placed in one appointment. That means fewer visits, less waiting, and no need to return weeks later for your final restoration.

No temporary crown

Traditional crowns usually require a temporary crown while the final one is made at a dental lab. With single visit crowns, you can skip the temporary and leave with your finished ceramic crown the same day.

Digital impressions

CEREC® uses digital scanning instead of messy traditional impressions. This creates a precise 3D model of your tooth while making the process more comfortable.

Natural-looking results

Ceramic crowns are carefully designed to match the shape, size, and color of your surrounding teeth, helping your restoration blend beautifully with your smile.

Durable protection

A dental crown covers and supports the visible portion of your tooth, helping protect it from further damage while restoring your ability to bite and chew comfortably.
